ASASI completed project to another two (2) new regions as in the interior region ie the district of Ranau, Keningau, Tenom and Kuala Penyu that has a large migrant and indigenous communities. The other regions are the palm oil and border communities of Felda Sahabat, Kalabakan, Tawau and Bum-bum Island of Semporna that is predominantly resided by migrant communities. The activity was to conduct eight (8) human rights and community security and gender-based violence trainings and social media workshop with the disenfranchised indigenous and migrant communities especially the undocumented/refugees & stateless communities
ASASI also expanded its campaign “We Are all Sabahan” Say No To All Form of Discrimination and Violence to new areas and communities with dialogue and safe space empowerment session focusing on Human Rights and Anti-Discrimination and Violent Extremism in community.
